Interior design, cover design, and technical illustrations created for Whirlpool’s Blueprint magazine whose goal is to highlight new products and new features for Best Buy sales floor employees.
Concept
Whirlpool’s Blueprint magazine requestes a new magazine strategically tailored to engage Best Buy sales floor associates by clearly showcasing product innovations and feature highlights. The layout, cover, masthead, and icon set design harmonizes sophisticated typography, clear visual hierarchies, and immersive imagery to effectively communicate detailed product specifications and benefits. Precise technical illustrations were also created to pair with organized content for quick comprehension, empowering employees with essential information to confidently discuss new offerings and drive customer interaction.

The balanced integration of visual appeal and technical accuracy ensures the publication is both inviting and highly informative, aligning seamlessly with Whirlpool’s premium brand identity.
In addition to the layout, cover, masthead, and technical illustration design, the client also requested a small icon set exemplifying thoughtful use of symbolism, simplicity, and clarity. The first logo leverages symbolic hands carefully holding banners, effectively conveying the "Handled with Care" message through direct visual representation, complemented by clean typography and restrained color usage for readability and impact. The second logo, employing a streamlined rectangular form, incorporates bold simplicity and visual economy, with a concise emblematic star and strong patriotic color scheme to provide immediate recognition and scalability. The third iteration creatively merges human hands and a star into a singular cohesive form, offering an elegant balance between abstract representation and meaningful symbolism, reinforcing the protective and caring theme effectively.
