Website design for Missouri University research hub focusing on new developments in science and technology.
Concept
A web refresh for Missouri University of Science & Technology’s Office of Sponsored Programs which connects faculty to external granting agencies. The web refresh serves as a seamless digital gateway that enhances researcher engagement, streamlines access to proposal support, and fosters science and technology innovation. By implementing an intuitive, user-centered design, the site became a dynamic platform that highlights funding opportunities, simplifies the proposal development process, and connects faculty with strategic resources. A modern, visually compelling interface with clear navigation and interactive elements ensures that researchers can quickly find the tools they need to advance their work. Additionally, by integrating success stories, collaboration hubs, and real-time updates, the redesign cultivates a culture of innovation, amplifying Missouri S&T’s research impact on a global scale.
Site Aesthetic
The design of the new site re-introduces the clean, straight-forward Missouri S&T brand through colorful infographics, playful illustrations, fit system icons, distilled research highlights, and a blogger-like presentation style. The site structure was re-mapped to be hierarchical—dictated by the needs and journey of its top users.
