Data visualization highlighting the specifics of a 2017 through 2018 academic job search.    






Concept


In April of 2018, I accepted a tenure-track faculty position at the R1 institution, Indiana University. During the many months of interviewing, jetting around the country, and negotiating contracts, I kept track of some data points from this process in order to share my experience with academic friends and colleagues.
